On the 17th of January, I presented NMiTE’s values and aims to Years 10-13 of Hereford Cathedral School. I was excited to share our bold, new approach to engineering education. My primary hope was to encourage the students to consider how engineering is a key part of all aspects of our lives. I also wanted to draw attention to our Pioneer Cohort (our first group of learners) and explain how NMiTE’s relevant and hands-on approach will ensure that our learners meet the UK demand for enthusiastic innovators. I think that the assembly was beneficial to both us and the school. NMiTE’s vision is impressive so it’s important for members of the community to be informed of our progress and this was a good chance! Being in the Cathedral was a grand assembly venue and also brought back feelings of pride from our Inauguration back in October 2018.
